17 July 2012 was when the first the Hunger Games was held in Singapore. Well, more like an event at the national library featuring the Hunger Games!
The hosts from Hunger Games Singapore fan site. Liyanaland was also helping to support this along with Happy Smiley Writers Group. Mostly though, this was the Hunger Games Singapore’s thing so they organized it while we helped out in man power!
It was fairly interesting with the fans of the novels or movies there. Prizes were sponsored by The Poster Shop, Pansing and HMV Singapore.
So this was the first event by them. They’ll have a Catching Fire event, probably when the movie comes out.

In any case, that means we’ll see them perhaps next year! Isn’t it neat that the library supports fandom events for books?
Heh, just a short post since it’s been quite a while that I got to blog this! Next major event for us will be the kick off for Nanowrimo! Watch out for that in October.
