I visited two different libraries on that 9th July Saturday. The first one was at Serangoon library to catch an author’s session. The one in the evening was at the National Library. Heh, heh. It was for the Harry Potter party held at the multipurpose room.

SDS 3.8 – I Believe I Can Fly
In this episode, the crew and I went to Sentosa! Wooooh! Sarah Does… Sentosa? Well, it’s still Singapore. This time I wanted to try out the new iFly Singapore. It is the first building or the most obvious building you’ll see if you took the Sentosa tram and stopped at the Beach Station.
In a design sense, the website is pretty rubbish cause it’s made of FLASH! That means you can’t check the website out on your iphones/ipads or if you have a slow connection. I hope they will eventually redesign it because it IS a hassle to get information to book a slot from there.
SDS 3.7 – Reflection
Cosfest once again! At Downtown East! I went on the second day as I was busy on the first! It’s now X.1 for 2011. Ah I could remember the first Cosfest and it had lesser people compared to now!
SDS 3.6 – Perfect
This episode starts out with us attending the book reading/launch of Ceriph #3 (it’s actually the fourth book but the first one was called issue zero) at Kinokuniya! 2 of our friends are in this issue! Magical Harkow and Schnoc from Nanowrimo!
SDS 3.5 – Like a Stone
Off we go to the Marina Bay Sand’s Art Science Museum! To get to the Marina Bay Sands, we figured to just take a bus from the Raffles’ Hotel bus stop since it would be quite a walk if we didn’t. In any case, the arts science museum is the lotus looking thing there.
SDS 3.4 – Rolling in the Deep
It had rained earlier in the day but it had stopped around noon. The crew and I were to meet at Velocity! The mall at Novena for the Velocity Urban Attack challenge. Well, they weren’t doing it but I was! Since I was early, I went up and checked out the course from the upper floors of the mall, hence the raindrops on the window.
SDS 3.3 – Written in the Stars
The Asian Festival of Children’s Content was on the 26-28 May 2011. I got registered for it and since it did cost quite a bit, here are some highlights and notes from the conferences! It is a literary adventure for this episode. The conferences and workshops were held at the Arts House.
SDS 3.2 – C’mon N’ Ride It
The other time we went on the tracks, this time we went to one of their stations! Tanjong Pagar Railway Station is going to close on 1st July and then it’ll be up for some renovations or something like that. We’re not sure but it’s to be at least kept the way it is as a historical place. Well, the crew didn’t get to go on the guided tours by the heritage board but we did research on our own and took pictures on our own time!
I wonder if they’re going to renovate the station, will they keep the clock as it is? Frozen in time? It was said to be that it stopped because it was struck by lightning but I’m not sure how accurate that fact is. Kind of like Back to the Future eh?
SDS 3.1 – Tomorrow Never Knows
And we’re back for a new season of Sarah Does Singapore! Hurraaaaaay! Since we’re getting back into the groove of things and there are new readers and stuff, this episode is our re-intro episode! Wooooo.
Firstly, if anyone wants to get into the mailing list, you just email with the subject title “SDS mailing list” to sarah (at) seriouslysarah.com to get on it. This time however, the emails are sent with suggestions of adventures instead of exact dates for some of them and alternate routes for people. The Adventure Crew however will be somewhere on one of the adventures just not with a specific timing in the emails, you usually can ask via email or twitter to know though.
Duh duh duh!
Season 3
Sarah Does Singapore is back on 23 May.
More adventures, more randomness and more videos!
